Debra is a recently retired corporate executive who now spends her time doing advisory and board work. She has been a lifelong champion of women, and much of her focus continues to be the advancement of women.
In her last corporate role, Debra was the Chief Revenue Officer for the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), responsible for all sales and partnership revenue for the $6 billion data and analytics division and the Group Strategic Accounts function.
Debra joined LSEG in 2021 as part of their $27 billion acquisition of Refinitiv. At Refinitiv, Debra was a member of the Senior Executive Team that led the successful sale of Refinitiv to Blackstone and the subsequent sale to LSEG.
Debra’s entire corporate career has been spent in Global Fintech, focusing on data and analytics. She has held Senior Executive positions across product, content, sales, marketing, and data operations. She has lived and worked on three continents.
Debra is a tireless advocate of gender equality and speaks globally on diversity and leadership and the importance of ESG more broadly. She is an advisory board member at Springboard Enterprises, a nonprofit that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts to help women take their business plans to market.
Debra is a recipient of many industry awards, including the New York Women’s Agenda Galaxy Award and the Women’s Venture Fund Highest Leaf Award. The Modern SaleandCollectiv named her one of the Top 100 Global Sales Leaders in 2020 and 2021. In 2018, she won the Waters Women in Technology and Data Lifetime achievement award, and in 2017, the Gertrude Crain Award from the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) for her extraordinary record of achievement and service. In 2016, she was acknowledged as a Springboard Enterprises Oracle honoree, championing women’s entrepreneurship. In 2015, she was named a Woman of Vision by the Anita Borg Institute, won the coveted Merit Award from the Women’s Bond Club, and earned a spot on the New York Business Journal’s inaugural “Women of Influence” list.
Born and raised on a sheep farm in Australia, Debra now lives between Connecticut and Florida with her husband, Marc. She is an avid golfer, pickleball player, and sailor.
