Emily most recently served as a Director for Maner Costerisan where she was responsible for expanding the reach and services of the firm’s association solutions business. Her experience expands from local to international organizations, working as a communication strategist and project manager. Her background gives her the discipline and ability to transition complex strategies into clear deliverables, while increasing employee productivity and promoting business goals.
Emily Harris served on a chapter board of USNC-United Nations Women for four years, providing creative input on initiatives, leading communications strategy and forming liaisons with other local groups to raise awareness and increase memberships. Her experience includes working with local and international organizations on anti-trafficking projects, founding a platform to facilitate community donations directly to worthy causes, and nurturing women in leadership.
She previously served as program and communication manager at ATHENA International. She earned a master’s degree in social work with a focus in business from North Carolina State University. Emily volunteers her time with the United Nations as a UN75 Emerging Leaders Fellow. When she’s not at her computer, Emily can be found hiking and bouldering.
