About: New England 2002
On Thursday, July 25, 2002 the Center for Women & Enterprise and Springboard Enterprises co-hosted Springboard VC Tune-Up, an educational program designed to help women entrepreneurs raise equity capital for their fast-growth ventures.
This half-day program featured prominent investors and successful entrepreneurs. Panelists discussed their experiences launching and funding high-growth businesses, the facts and recent trends in the equity markets, and what’s involved in raising venture capital. This day was primarily educational in nature but it also helped us preview potential applicants for Springboard: New England 2002.
