Springboard Enterprises and CATAAlliance co-hosted the second Growth Capital Workshop in Canada. The one-day workshop provided information on the various types of equity capital and successful strategies employed to use equity to start or expand a growth business. The workshop also featured keynotes and case studies from successful women entrepreneurs, as well as panels on positioning for growth and attracting the right investment sources. At the end of the day, four women entrepreneurs presented their two-minute ‘elevator’ pitch to a panel of investors.
