Springboard Australia 2017 is a community-driven accelerator program for high-growth tech companies led by women. On February 20th we welcomed ten Springboard companies from across Australia into our portfolio through Bootcamp, where we assessed their strength, weaknesses, and strategies through an interactive four-day program.
Speaking about this year’s group in an interview with Business News Australia, Springboard’s Co-Founder and Chairman Kay Koplovitz said “I am really excited about the quality of entrepreneurs they are not only entrepreneurs of vision; they can execute, and they can attract top talent. Importantly, they are agile thinkers and they learn and adapt quickly, they know what to do with the advice they get, and they move quickly in the marketplace to be competitive.” Full article linked here: Koplovitz Gives Springboard to Agile Entrepreneurs.
The 2017 cohort is our fifth group of women to participate in the Springboard Australia Program. Previous Australian alumnae have been responsible for two IPOs and have secured $120 million in capital with 80% of alumnae securing funding post the program. We have no doubt the Class of 2017 will continue to be successful leaders.
